Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Startline collects, why, and the control you have over it. We build for families and minors, so we keep data collection narrow and we never sell it.

What we collect

• Profile information you enter — player name, graduation year, position, gender, club or level, location, and academic details used to compute your Fit Score.
• Account and contact details — the email you sign up or request a target list with.
• Coach outreach you create and track within the app.
• Basic, privacy-respecting product analytics so we can improve the app.

What we do with it

• Compute your Fit Score, roster analytics, and recommendations.
• Send the email you asked for (such as a target list) and account-related messages.
• Operate, secure, and improve the product.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your information.
• We don't share a player's data with coaches or clubs unless you choose to send it.
• We don't place players or guarantee outcomes, and we don't make claims about you to third parties.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We don't store your card number; Stripe processes it under their own terms and security.

Your data if you cancel or leave

Downgrading to free re-locks paid analytics but does not delete your profile, list, or coach conversations — resubscribe and it's all there. You can request full deletion at any time and we'll remove your data.

Children's privacy

Startline is for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If the player is under 18, a parent or guardian should set up and supervise the account.

The only age information we ask for is a graduation year, and the setup form will not accept a class that would put the player under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 gave us information, email us and we will delete the account and everything attached to it. You do not need an account to ask, and we will not ask for anything beyond what identifies the record.
