How this was counted

Teams are the programs in our directory, which holds every NCAA Division I, II and III and NAIA varsity soccer program for 2026-27. Colleges are counted by pairing a school’s women’s and men’s programs, so a school with both is one college. The directory was last re-counted against our database on 2026-10-02.
